GSA Online SUBSCRIBER HELP & SERVICES:
What to Do if You Forget Your Member or Subscriber Number
Your member or subscriber number is an 8-digit number; you will need this number to activate your online subscription. Your member or subscriber number appears directly above your name/institution's name on your journal mailing labels and on your renewal notice. Please add zeros before your member/subscriber number taken from these two sources until you have 8 digits (e.g., renewal notices include 5 digits of your member number, so please add three zeros before the first digit to make 8 digits).

New Members: Your 8-digit member number appears on the membership card included in your new member packet. Please allow 4 weeks for this packet to arrive. GSA will e-mail you a temporary account number within two days of processing your membership application. This temporary account will remain active until you receive your member number and activate your regular subscription.

New Subscribers and Subscribers Who Upgrade to Print Plus Online: Once we have received and confirmed payment for your new subscription or upgrade to our print plus online journal(s), we will mail you a payment confirmation letter, which will include your subscriber number. You will not be able to activate your IP-based subscription until this letter has been mailed to you. You should receive this letter within 4-6 weeks of subscribing.

If you do not have any of the items mentioned above, please contact The Gerontological Society of America as indicated below. Email inquiries are recommended. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office is closed on national holidays. In addition, the staff attends the Society's Annual Scientific Meeting each November.
